Job Description

Coulson Aviation Australia is a subsidiary of global aerial firefighting company, Coulson Aviation, and supports Australian States and Emergency Service Organizations with the provision of aircraft and experienced team members. Coulson Aviation operates across the world with a fleet of large aerial firefighting assets consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. With our fleet of Boeing 737 FIRELINERS, Hercules C130, Citation and King Air fire support platforms, CH47D Chinooks, UH60 Blackhawks and Bell 412 helicopters, we provide rapid response capabilities using aviation assets. Coulson Aviation Australia operate and manage New South Wales Rural Fire Service-owned aircraft in all aspects of maintenance, fleet support systems and management, and operating personnel. Our teams perform aerial firefighting missions, transport flights, intelligence and scanning missions, disaster mitigation, search and rescue operations, and related activities. For more information about Coulson Aviation Australia visit WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: We are currently recruiting a Tech Records Administrator to be a part of the team. This position will support Richmond and Bankstown, NSW operations as required. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Evaluate the current department goals, and align them with company direction, in part by meeting with the DOM’s and VP of Maintenance to establish priorities Assess department organization, and present Opportunities for Improvement (OFI’s) to leadership Provide weekly status reports to appropriate fleet technician for distribution Attend weekly maintenance and project meetings as required Ensure all AD’s, SB’s and Service Letters are reviewed and distributed quickly to the appropriate Fleet Manager for further review and concurrence of applicability Monitor any updates from Regulatory Authorities and Original equipment Manufacturers for instructions affecting the airworthiness of the aircraft Work with Management, QA, and QC team members for investigations, audits, and reporting needs Ensure the technical library is current and revisions are being sent to the field for use in a common place, tracked, and recorded Perform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience in aviation industry Thorough understanding of all technical documents such as technical bulletins, alert service bulletins, Airworthiness Directives etc. Comprehensive understanding of Australian Aviation (CASA) requirements Currently hold or ability to obtain Red ASIC card and/or RAAF passes We would like to thank all applicants in advance for their interest; however, we can only consider applicants that are an Australian resident and are legally eligible to work in Australia.
