Technical Business Analyst - Azure Migrations (NV1) (BH-19338-3) Location: Melbourne, Australia Sector: IT Initial 6-month contract Minimum NV1 clearances About the company: Green Light is one of Australia's most successful and fastest-growing IT services businesses. We offer a wide range of IT services in Security, infrastructure, and Systems Integration to a diverse customer base throughout Australia, New Zealand, SE Asia, and Europe.About the engagement: Green Light Australia is looking to engage a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to specialize in creating Azure Migration Documentation for a high-priority cloud uplift project. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in documenting technical processes, standards, and best practices for the organization's Azure cloud foundations. This role is essential in enabling a seamless transition to support teams and ensuring the success of a large-scale cloud migration initiative.This role does require an active AGSVA NV1 clearance at a minimum . Consultants that do not hold this minimum requirement will not be considered.Responsibilities: Create detailed and accurate Transition to Support documentation , covering technical processes, tools, and configurations for the following areas:Azure Infrastructure setup and management. Azure Governance, including policies and security controls. Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. DevOps workflows and methodologies. Terraform configurations for infrastructure as code. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between technical teams, project managers, and operational staff to gather information and requirements for documentation. Conduct interviews and workshops with subject matter experts to ensure comprehensive documentation. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that all documentation complies with industry best practices, organizational standards, and governance policies. Regularly review and update documentation to reflect changes in infrastructure, processes, or tools. Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to guide support teams in understanding and utilizing the documentation effectively. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve documentation processes for future projects. Skills & Experience: Comprehensive understanding of Azure cloud technologies , including infrastructure and management practices. Proficiency in CI/CD tools and workflows, with a focus on Azure DevOps. Hands-on experience with Terraform for managing infrastructure as code. Familiarity with DevOps principles , tools, and methodologies. At least 5+ years of professional experience in technology, with significant exposure to Azure and related domains. Proven track record in creating detailed technical documentation, especially for complex, cloud-based systems.
