Job Title: Technology Support Specialist Location: Sydney About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Technology Support Specialist with strong expertise in providing high-quality service, managing Windows-based systems, scripting with PowerShell, and performing system patching. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for maintaining secure and efficient IT operations. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows-based systems. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system management. Perform regular patch management and system updates to ensure security and compliance. Monitor system performance and resolve any issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with IT teams to enhance service quality and system reliability. Document support processes, incidents, and resolutions. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Ensure adherence to IT policies and best practices. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a Technology Support role. Proficiency in Windows operating systems and server environments. Strong PowerShell scripting skills. Experience with patch management tools and processes. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCSA, or equivalent.
