They offer services such as telecom design and construction, fibre optic cable installation, and utility location and identification.The Telecommunications Network Engineer position at Bridgeway Concepts involves designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure system availability and reliability. Responsibilities include configuring and installing network devices, performing system upgrades, and providing technical support to resolve issues.Minimum Requirements A Bachelor degree in a relevant field with at least 2+ years of experience in a similar role.Key Responsibilities Analysing requirements, performing cost analyses and feasibility studies, developing plans and designs, preparing detailed technical and operational specifications or requests for proposals, and other documentation required for the development and implementation of complex telecommunications systems. Working with other agencies/departments for purposes of evaluating telecommunications systems and requirements and recommending modifications and/or new equipment. Analysing technical problems and recommending appropriate corrective measures for the clients. Assisting clients in developing medium and long-range telecommunications plans. Developing cost estimates for budgetary purposes; researching and recommending alternatives that will best meet their operational requirements and budgetary constraints. Investigating new technologies for potential application to client systems. Conducting technical field surveys to determine telecommunications site locations. Developing detailed system design criteria; preparing equipment specifications and assisting in procurement processing. Skills & Qualities Required Being able to communicate clearly and effectively with different audiences, such as technical experts, managers, customers, and end users. Excellent attention to detail to ensure contract accuracy and compliance. Effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders and resolve contract-related issues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple contracts efficiently.
