Job Description

As a Terminal Operator, you'll play a vital role in managing all aspects of terminal operations, including shipping, product transfers, tank gauging, stock control, and truck loading operations. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient workflows, operating control systems, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. Description What You'll Be Doing: Loading fuel into tanker trucks safely and efficiently. Helping unload fuel from ships as they come into the terminal. Keeping an eye on and operating terminal equipment. Doing routine checks and maintenance on terminal facilities and gear. Following all safety and environmental rules to a T. Profile Requirements: Mechanical knowledge or experience in a technical field would be highly desirable. Training and experience in truck and ship loading, as well as wharf duties is a bonus but not required. Experience in chemical handling facility operations is desirable. Understanding of handling Dangerous Goods and Hazardous chemicals. Physically fit and ready for a hands-on job. Valid forklift license or willingness to obtain. Confined space training certification or willingness to obtain. Willingness to complete a police check and drug and alcohol test.
