Territory Manager – Sutherland Shire & South Coast NSW At AV our purpose is to make the world a smaller place through sharing good times. Australian Vintage (AV) is an ASX listed company and owner of the multi-award winning McGuigan, Tempus Two, Nepenthe and Barossa Valley Wine Company brands. We are currently looking for a motivated Territory Manager to join our team on a six-month parental cover contract, covering the Sutherland Shire & South Coast NSW, commencing in April 2025. The primary focus of this role is to drive and grow sales within the Southern region, with an emphasis on strengthening relationships with existing customers. This territory captures the South Coast of NSW, starting in South Sydney through the Illawarra, Wollongong, Kiama, Shellharbour, and Batemans Bay. We’re seeking someone who can hit the ground running, leveraging their industry knowledge and sales expertise to drive results from day one. Experience in the FMCG, liquor, or hospitality industry will be highly regarded. AV Territory Managers operate with a high degree of autonomy, demonstrating exceptional organisation and time management skills. While this is a six-month contract, you’ll have access to comprehensive support, including a structured onboarding program and quarterly business reviews to set you up for success. Reporting to the State Manager, your primary duties will include: Servicing existing customers on and off premise with the highest level of professionalism and ethics whilst maximising all possible sales and margin opportunities. Establishing and maturing new sales contacts within the set territory and area of responsibility. Developing an exceptionally high level of product and industry knowledge to ensure the highest level of service is provided to all customers. Achieving and/or exceeding sales budgets and KPI’s as set by the State Sales Manager and/or AVL. Ensuring that all AVL products are located in key selling positions within each store or retail outlet. Conducting regular tastings per month and other promotional activities such as taking part in wine shows and wine dinners. About you: Strong planning and organisational capabilities are essential. We are looking for someone who thrives on building relationships and possesses strong communication skills. Your ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate will be key to success in this role. As a road warrior for AVL, you will need to think on your feet independently, troubleshoot creatively, and organise and manage your time effectively. We are looking for someone with strong personal ambition and the drive to win, to ensure that we achieve our big goals for this territory. Previous Territory Manager experience in the FMCG or Drinks Industry is highly regarded.
