The Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity based in New South Wales – Southern Region for a Territory Manager, to facilitate the sale, and provide technical & clinical support, of products in the Neurosurgery portfolio, driving profitability and market share. You will be joining a collegiate and collaborative team and have the support of a national manager who has your and the division’s best interests at heart. To be successful in this role you will have strong relationship skills and have a real interest in the neurosurgery portfolio. Key Responsibilities include: Develop and implement monthly, quarterly and yearly territory business plans for the product portfolio Make face to face sales calls with clinicians Liaise with the National Sales Manager on a regular basis in relation to strategic sales objectives, including progress on planned sales meetings and specific outcomes Engage with core suppliers and conduct self-learning on a regular basis to ensure product knowledge is current and of a high standard Conduct regular hospital in-services for products in the portfolio Provide clinical operating theatre support for product portfolio in NSW South, and occasionally in other territories, as necessary Conduct stocktakes of LifeHealthcare products consigned at hospital locations Experience required: Technical sales experience – proven record of sales success in the Medical Technology industry (neurosurgery device experience preferred but not essential) Strong capability and knowledge of sales techniques including articulating product value to the customer Understanding of the sales process, including navigating varying hospital purchasing processes & key stakeholders involved Knowledge of both public & private healthcare systems and how they operate Excellent communication and presentation skills.
