Test Analysts (baseline) Location: Queensland Company: Green Light Description: Brisbane offices 12-Month Contract (with likely extension) Must have an Existing Baseline Security clearance or higher. About the engagement: Green Light is a growing consulting organisation known for its work in Telecommunications and System Integration Services organisations. We have a requirement with our client partner for a Test Analysts (baseline) to join their team on a 12-Month contract. An active baseline clearance is essential – consultants who are not Australian Citizens and do not have an active baseline, at minimum, cannot be accepted. Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts. Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and automated testing. Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Participate in requirement and design reviews. Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks. Support BAU activities to ensure system stability and reliability. Conduct API and database testing, analyse results, and report findings. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with the development team. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Proven experience as a Test Analyst or similar role. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
