About the Project We are currently working on the BHP rail line project in the Pilbara region of Perth, focusing on enhancing the rail infrastructure to improve efficiency and safety. The project involves significant upgrades and maintenance to ensure the rail line meets the highest standards. This initiative is part of John Holland's broader commitment to delivering top-tier engineering solutions. This project is a FIFO project that works on a 2:1 rota. About the Role Reporting to the Test & Commissioning Manager, the Testing and Commissioning Lead is responsible for leading a team of testers on site undertaking testing and inspection activities to ensure compliance with design and standards, and suitable for handover. Responsibilities of the role Lead and undertake testing of signalling systems and equipment Test and inspect activities of signalling systems. Undertake tests/checks to ensure compliance with design and specifications Lead and undertake testing and commissioning activities for level crossings Provide testing evidence for the work package and ensure all documentation and protocols are followed. Ensure all testing schemes are carried out in a safe manner. Ensure effective communication maintained with stakeholders Complete all necessary handover testing documentation and certification including FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) and commissioning. What we are looking for Qualifications Competent as a Tester-in-Charge as per RIW TIC IRSE Licence or working towards or RIW equivalent C Class Drivers Licence Construction Card WA “C” Class Electrical Trade Qualified (desirable) CERT IV Signalling (desirable) Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience Demonstrated experience in a similar role Experience on Pilbara Networks (preferably) As part of the team, you help us deliver on our promise to transform lives Your success is reflected in ours, so we're committed to being an employer of choice.
