Trading System Analyst | Global FSI | Relocation | USD 85K - 105K We are seeking a dedicated Trading System Associate to join our dynamic team. This role emphasizes a client-centric approach, focusing on enhancing the execution trading experience in a rapidly evolving financial landscape. In this position, you will immerse yourself in the trading workflows of a prominent agency broker while gaining insights into the APAC markets. Based in Sydney, your primary focus will be on the Australian and New Zealand markets, equipping you with the knowledge and skills to support traders and collaborate with technology teams while maintaining our essential trading platform. Key Responsibilities Deliver first-line support for the Australian and New Zealand markets. Develop a deep understanding of financial markets, relevant technologies, and trading applications. Collaborate with regional and global teams across trading, technology, risk, and compliance to create strategic solutions for prestigious institutional clients. Utilize project management and analytical skills to address business challenges effectively. Monitor and analyze the performance of the core trading platform to ensure operational health. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution or equivalent experience. At least 2 years of similar experience. Familiarity with the IRESS platform or similar vendors. Proficient in Unix and Python scripting. Strong knowledge of cash equities markets, software applications, and trading lifecycles. Experience with FIX protocols and full-stack development is a plus. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English.
