Job Description Faller, Davis & Associates, Inc. (FDA) is seeking to fill a full-time traffic engineering position in Maitland. The successful applicant will have a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an E.I. certification or the ability to obtain one within one year. FDA’s engineering team is recognized as one of the pre-eminent traffic engineering groups in the State of Florida. We are experts in traffic design, safety, operations, ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), and TSM&O (Transportation Systems Management and Operations). If you would like the opportunity to build your career by working with experienced engineering professionals on wide-ranging traffic engineering projects throughout the State of Florida, then FDA is your firm of choice. Responsibilities Responsibilities will include contributing to traffic engineering studies, designs, traffic signal retiming, and TSM&O. Traffic studies will include operational and safety studies, and traffic designs will include signalization, signing and pavement marking, lighting, and ITS. This work will require utilizing CADD software to prepare plans and exhibits; participating in traffic volume data collection; performing field work to measure, review, and document existing conditions; performing traffic calculations; utilizing computer modeling traffic software; and preparing reports and documentation. Requirements B.S. in Civil Engineering E.I. Certification (or the ability to obtain one within one year) Valid Florida Driver’s License Good written and verbal communication skills and basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with OpenRoads Designer, Microstation, and 3D modeling (a plus) Experience in traffic studies, design, and plans production (a plus) Available to work a hybrid schedule including time in our Maitland office each week Benefits FDA offers a culture centered on the growth and success of our employees.
