About the company Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Traffic Engineer Officer. This position is located in their busy Parramatta office for an initial contract until 14/04/25. About the Position The Traffic Engineering Officer is responsible for conducting routine network investigations and technical assessments, and making recommendations for improvements. The role is expected to obtain day-to-day priorities from the manager. Duties Provide network management advice, based on sound knowledge of guidelines and procedures Undertake appropriate investigations, audits and technical assessments Implement appropriate network management procedures to ensure the quality of activities, outcomes, and records Provide timely and considered draft responses to customer issues Assist in projects, which may include traffic and safety, speed zone, sign posting and delineation reviews Travel to site when required Requirements/Skills Traffic and council experience Tertiary qualification in traffic engineering or a related discipline Demonstrated ability to understand network management policies, guidelines, technical directions and procedures Drivers licence Benefits working with this Client Car provided for travel when required Hybrid work – 2 days in office (Wed & Fri) Start ASAP Benefits working with Karlka Recruiting Group Weekly pay Ongoing support: Pre, during and post placement Dedicated consultant per contract Employee Assistance Program available Our agency supports Indigenous communities How to Apply Apply now to be considered for submission to our client by 15/01/2025 Consultant: Sang Email for questions only: *Please apply through this portal.
