Our company has expanded significantly since its inception in 2018, and we are seeking an experienced, reliable and qualified individual to join our team on a casual basis with the possibility of future full-time work. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of traffic management implementation, including facilitating traffic controller duties and ensuring the safety of workers and the public at various construction projects. Key Responsibilities : Perform all tasks associated with traffic management including traffic control duties. Set up and monitor traffic control devices such as signs, barriers, and lights. Implement and monitor Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS). Communicate effectively with site supervisors, drivers, and pedestrians to coordinate safe traffic movement. Maintain detailed records of traffic control activities and incidents. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. Coordinate and manage the storage and allocation of Traffic Management signage and other associated assets. Skills and Experience : Valid TMI1 or TMI2 or equivalent NT Transitional TTM qualifications. Construction industry white card. Valid driver's license (manual preferred). Proven experience in traffic control or a similar role. Physical fitness to perform duties (e.g., standing for long periods). Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
