Job Description

Novus Education (RTO Code: 45082) is seeking Trainers and Assessors for the day-to-day quality delivery of training, assessment and student services (including design, development, piloting and validation of training and assessment tools, resources, supporting materials and processes) for the following qualifications: CHC62015 - Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management Training location is in our Perth Campus (188 Newcastle St, Perth WA). The available position/s are for trainers/assessors who will be assigned to student groups that will be timetabled according to the training plans and availability. Duties include but are not limited to: Delivering training, assessment and student services that adhere to the principles of access and equity, meet the individual needs of students, and maximise outcomes for students; Designing, developing and continuously improving training and assessment tools, resources and materials that comply with the mandates of relevant Training Packages, and that meet workplace and regulatory requirements, as appropriate; Developing training facilitation plans for each unit of competency, ensuring face-to-face/online training delivery is conducted in accordance with developed training and assessment strategy and the assessment schedule; Conducting assessments and making assessment decisions in accordance with the principles of assessment and rules of evidence; Validating, moderating and continuously improving assessment tools and processes, and moderating assessment decisions; Ensuring an accurate record of students' academic performance and attendance are recorded and kept for each student in a timely and systematic manner; Reporting on students regarding absenteeism; Demonstrating current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment services being delivered; Actively engaging in ongoing professional development to ensure the continued currency of VET knowledge and skills, industry skills/vocational competence, and trainer/assessor competence; Undertaking and delivering outcomes for such other duties, activities and projects as may from time to time be assigned by the RTO Manager. Necessary qualifications: Diploma of Community Services/Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management or equivalent tertiary qualifications; Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; TAE40116 or TAE40110 along with TAEASS502 and TAELLN401 units, or higher level of Training and Assessment qualifications; Relevant/current industry experience; Knowledge of AQTF, ASQA; 2+ years practical work experience in the field you deliver training; A national police check (issued within the past 12 months).
