About the Role We are seeking to appoint a skilled and passionate Training and Competency Coordinator to manage the design, coordination and delivery of competency and compliance-based training programs across our operational assets. Working closely with senior leaders, you will take a strategic approach in fostering a workforce that meets regulatory industry standards while driving individual and organisational growth. Core responsibility: Assess, develop and implement training, competency and compliance programs to ensure operational excellence across the business. Build, implement and maintain training matrices and competency frameworks. Partner with operational leaders to identify skill gaps and provide expert advice on training strategies, external training providers and best practices. Participate in compliance activities and audits to identify opportunities for improvement and build organisational capability. Create and identify engaging learning course content that enhances retention and builds the capability of leadership and technical progression for all our employee careers. Manage the company Learning Management Systems (LMS) including the company HRIS (ELMO) and training system (Lucidity) to create engaging content, enhance the learner experience and ensure compliance with training requirements. About you The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and relationship management skills, with a passion for training and development. You will be self-motivated, adaptable and will deliver impactful learning experiences to a diverse and geographically spread stakeholder group.Key requirements: Cert IV in Training & Assessment (mandatory). Ability to travel and spend time with key stakeholders at operational assets and interstate offices. Strong experience in training coordination, competency management and leadership of training activities. Prior management of LMS platforms and course design, including the development and implementation of training modules. Experience in course design, planning and delivering training courses and workshops, coaching and providing feedback to stakeholders and training participants . C-Class driver’s license (essential for site visits).
