Transformation Delivery Specialist

Job Description

Join a large financial services organisation as a Transformation and Delivery Specialist as part of a multi-year transformation program. You will drive successful delivery of discovery and planning, including benefits definition, cost estimation, timeline design, program structuring, risk mitigation, and quality assurance. Ensure seamless task sequencing and dependency management for key initiatives. This role requires collaboration with executive leadership, managing and influencing stakeholders effectively, and facilitating the smooth execution of discovery and planning activities within a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include: Play an active strategic leadership role within the transformation planning team. This includes facilitating design, planning and governance meetings, managing reporting, driving team development activities and overseeing performance management and quality assurance activities to maintain the highest delivery standards. Lead, develop and deliver the transformation benefits framework and model, ensuring alignment with broader strategic objectives and long-term organisational goals. Collaborate with executive and senior leadership team to define and agree on benefit types (financial and non-financial), measures, baseline metrics, and targets. Lead, develop and deliver the transformation estimates model and sequential activity plan, ensuring a well-structured roadmap for the transformation’s execution. Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations and Human Resources, to define and apply consistent estimation standards (rules), while working closely with Planning Squads and Data Analytics teams to aggregate and understand. Challenge and standardise estimates, while working with Leaders and Planning squads to ensure that dependencies are well considered, and costs across the proposed delivery portfolio match a planned delivery cadence. About You 10+ years of experience in project / delivery management, within complex, large-scale organisations or enterprise-level environments. Extensive experience in large-scale transformation planning within complex regulatory environments, such as insurance and financial services. Experience within the insurance Industry is highly desirable. Proven track record in strategizing, planning, establishing and delivering complex, multi-year transformation programs and portfolios, aligning cross-functional teams and achieving measurable outcomes. Proven experience in strategic transformation benefit, cost and risk design. Proven track record in managing and influencing senior leadership and executive stakeholders across diverse business functions (e.g. IT, operations, finance, HR, risk) to drive alignment and successful execution of transformation programs. Hands-on experience leading and executing complex, large-scale, multi-faceted transformational programs, including developing detailed program roadmaps and managing dependencies across multiple functions and projects.
