Our team is fast-paced, high energy and work collaboratively to achieve great experience for our customers. Reporting to the National Outbound Transport Manager, as the Transport Control Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the operational activities and people leadership across the Bunnings Transport Control Centre, to ensure cost effective & operational targets are achieved for the business. What's involved: Lead a team of Transport Allocators to deliver exceptional customer service whilst optimising fleet Effective rostering of transportation resources to deliver productive outcomes Schedule, Load Plan, allocate and route volume efficiently Maintain compliance in relation to HVNL regulations, Fatigue Management, Mass Management, and Chain of Responsibility Escalation for all enquiries across managed last mile network Ensure department KPI Targets are met such as Safety and financial targets, DIFOT, and NPS Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and transport providers, ensuring performance to agreed levels Who we’re looking for You will be an experienced leader who is able to foster team culture while overseeing a high output team. Your strong communication skills will enable you to work effectively with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes with a key focus on customer service. You will thrive working in a fast-paced environment where each day brings a different challenge! You’ll need: Previous demonstrated experience in a similar role, overseeing transport control or allocation, ideally direct to customer deliveries Previous experience leading a team, with the ability to effectively coach and mentor Strong understanding across Transport, Logistics or Supply Chain, including sound understanding of CoR legislation Experience managing relationships and agreements with key suppliers, with the ability to negotiate and influence as needed Prior experience with the utilisation of a Vehicle Routing System Commercial acumen, with the ability to oversee P&L and Costs Centres You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
