Epic TravelStaffing is hiring a Travel RN – PACU Shift: Days / 7a-5p, 10×4, 40 hours per week Length: 13 weeks Every other weekend or a total of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. 4–6 night calls in 6 weeks and on call every other weekend (Sat and Sun). Call 7A-7P or call 7P-7A. M-F is 11p-7a, Weekend is 7a-7p or 7p-7a. Requirements: FL / Compact License 1 year experience BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS Other Details: Float: required to float to all four hospitals. Majority 3 – Proficient or 4 – Expert in all areas of Neurological and Cardiovascular sections of PACU skills assessment. Position / Specialty: PACU RN Key Responsibilities: Need to know how to titrate drips. RN will also be expected to rotate to phase II PACU outpatient discharge when needed. RN needs to be within 30 minutes of the hospital to take call. Level II Trauma Center experience required. Additional Information: Years of experience required: 1 year First-timers accepted: No Weekend requirement: Yes – every other weekend or a total of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period, TBD by unit’s needs. Documentation System: SCM Is on-call required? Yes, 4-6 night calls in 6 weeks and on call every other weekend. Will clinicians float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, required to float to all four hospitals. Open to accommodating block schedule? Depends on unit need. Manager will need to approve prior to offer. Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS. Pending License accepted: No – Florida State or compact license required at time of submission. Locals accepted: Yes – same rate as travelers. RTO Restrictions: Finalized RTO must be included with submission. RTO will not be accepted after offer. Scrubs: Any solid color, matching. Special Requirements: 2 references from authority figures (Managers, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the last year must be included with submission.
