In this Job you will: As an Automation Manager at DHL, you'll overcome daily logistical challenges to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly. In a fast-paced environment, where every day is different, you'll have the autonomy to make decisions and be able to continually grow professionally. Use your talents to lead a committed team to greatness and drive the future of logistics, using the latest technology. Work with an extensive automation pipeline and drive the business transformation through implementation of new technologies. Oversee the daily operations and performance of the Autostore solution, including the shoe sorter, conveyor system, picking ports, and replenishment ports. Monitor system metrics to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal performance. Track system downtime, analyze root causes, and develop action plans to minimize recurrence. Collaborate with the Operations team to align automation functionality with business objectives and productivity goals. You have the following qualities & qualifications: Extensive experience in 3PL or logistics in operations and systems. Proven automation design and implementation experience. Ability to read & interpret controls and wiring diagrams. Analytical thinker, with the ability to challenge and interpret data and derive outcomes from that data. Extensive stakeholder management at all levels. CAD reading and drawing experience. Highly developed written and oral communication skills. Can-do attitude.
