About the Role Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. The Vascular Sonographer is responsible for providing a comprehensive quaternary level specialist vascular diagnostic ultrasound service. The sonographer will work within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the provision of accurate diagnostic ultrasound study results and appropriate recommendations for both initial and further vascular diagnostic procedures and management. The role entails exclusive time for research and education development.Ideal Candidate ASAR vascular accredited sonographer. Bachelor Medication Radiation Science and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) OR, Membership with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR); current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and 5 years full-time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
