Job Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and washing as necessary. Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and ensure consistent application. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Inspect and assess completed work for quality and conformity with specifications. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols and procedures. Collaborate with team members and other tradespersons to complete projects on time. Deliver high-quality workmanship to meet client expectations and project goals. Essential Qualifications: No specific educational qualifications are required; experience in the field is valued. Proven experience in painting, preferably in a residential or commercial setting. Knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and tools. Desired Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a painting trades worker or in a similar role. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience in managing multiple projects and adhering to deadlines. Salary & Benefits: Competitive annual salary range of $74,000 to $84,000 AUD. Full-time employment with a consistent work schedule.
