Recruitment for our next snow season is kicking off and we are seeking people with customer service experience to join our Visitor Experience team.As a member of our Visitor Experience team, you will be the 'go-to-person' for resort visitors. Whether it is answering phone queries or assisting guests as they pass through the ticket box or dropping into our Visitor Information Centre, you’ll be the friendly face that provides outstanding customer service and knowledge about the resort. You’ll also provide valuable assistance to our Marketing and Communications team to ensure the successful roll out of resort events and activities. In this role, no two days will be the same as you move around the resort fulfilling the needs of the Visitor Experience team.A scenic 4.5-hour drive from the heart of Melbourne, Falls Creek Alpine Resort is home to the largest ski/snowboarding terrain in Victoria boasting a massive 450 hectares of skiable terrain and a bustling alpine village.Life isn't meant to be all work and no play, so on your days off, we encourage you to take the time to learn/improve your skiing/snowboarding skills on our beautifully manicured snow slopes or perhaps.....just build a snowman :)Key accountabilities: Guest Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for guests, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience while offering comprehensive information about the resort. Administrative Support: Handle documentation, information management, and financial transactions, maintaining strict security protocols. Collaboration: Work closely with the Visitor Services Supervisor and other resort service teams to ensure smooth operations and service delivery. What amazing skills and experience will score you this role? Experience in a customer service role and/or office environment. A whizz when it comes to using Microsoft 365. Experience with Snapforms and SharePoint will score you brownie points! A knack for talking to people and a solutions-focused approach when dealing with problems. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal – you’ll keep things clear, confident, and running smoothly! Laser sharp focus on providing a safe and fun environment for our guests. A LOVE of the outdoors, including the rain, hail, and shine (and obviously SNOW). Flexibility to work in other departments/roles. Available to work weekends and school holidays. Available from June to the start of October 2025 (or the declared snow season). The successful candidate will be required to: Have full Australian working rights. International applicants are required to obtain their own visa with valid Australian work rights. Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check – Employee type. Have an Australian driver's licence (Victorian licence preferred). Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests. Need more details?
