Add expected salary to your profile for insights Transways Logistics International is seeking an experienced and dynamic Import and Export specialist to lead our day-to-day operations in WA. Your vast industry experience combined with your ability to train, educate, and mentor new personnel to the industry will be key to securing this role. You will need significant experience using Cargowise along with full industry know-how, including: Import / Export Air operational Experience - Including IATA bookings. Import / Export Sea Operational Experience. Customs and Quarantine Clearance knowledge and experience on documents, processes, ICS. Import AIR and Sea freight job registration, SCA reporting. Bookings and quoting experience ideal as well. In summary, you will handle import and export jobs from start to finish. A calm and patient temperament is vital, along with a willingness and ability to train staff of varying ages using different teaching methods that relate to each individual. You will have a proven track record in developing relationships and trust with employees that you have managed. Your responsibilities will include covering the workload of operational staff when on leave. This will include our MELB and SYD operations and may include some potential travel. You will need to be prepared to be pulled and pushed into various tasks on a frequent basis. No two days will look the same, but given the experience you will bring, this should not be an issue. A focus on operational procedures and ensuring the smooth flow of freight is a key aspect of the role. 1-STOP, ICS, COLS, BICON use and experience is a must as well. The successful applicant will need to provide a police check report, valid for the last 3 months, prior to their start date. Work From Home is not an option for this role; it is based in our O'Connor Office. How do your skills match this job?
