The primary goal of the Warehouse Associate is to help manage the inventory levels and efficiency of the Melbourne Parts Distribution Centre, as well as support the inbound and outbound functions of the warehouse team. You will also be responsible for helping to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity. To be a successful candidate for this role, you must be an energetic, driven individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do Maintain a safe and productive work environment Contribute to all warehouse KPI targets being met Perform, investigate, and report daily cycle counts Analyse and report on warehouse inventory movements Investigate and report discrepancies Help maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity Create and print orders for the warehouse team Coordinate both incoming and outbound freight, including exports Responsible for the filing and storage of warehouse documentation Receipt orders into the warehouse management system Help other areas of the warehouse on an ad hoc basis Report any inefficiencies and productivity improvements Follow safety guidelines & procedures Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions Report any equipment damages or repairs needed Uphold all Tesla values What You’ll Bring High safety standards Customer-focused mentality High attention to detail Pride in what you do and how you act Adaptability and willingness to learn and develop Strong Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly Excel Ability to analyse and report on data trends and anomalies Ability to problem-solve and think outside the box Open to schedule flexibility that will allow for a variety of shifts, including weekends as needed Ability to understand and follow instructions Be a team player, as well as able to think and work autonomously Punctuality and a professional, can-do attitude are a must Requirements Prior experience in an inventory or logistics coordinator role Strong understanding of warehouse functions, processes, and systems Strong Microsoft Office suite skills Open-minded, collaborative, and team-oriented attitude with the ability to think outside the box for solutions to complex challenges Self-motivation, strong work ethic, and a passion for being hands-on in their work Forklift license is preferred but not required Tesla is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
