Warehouse / Inventory Controller / Supervisor - 3PL Facility Our client partners with a diverse range of customers, each with unique requirements, and provides cutting-edge solutions for critical warehouse management and storage solutions.With a well-established family business with ties to a global infrastructure that holds strong partnerships with major clients and importers, they deliver mainly to major commercial establishments including supermarkets across the country. This successful small business is currently offering a talented Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator with aspirations to supervise a small warehouse team in the near future.Reporting to the owners, your responsibilities will include: Leading and guiding the warehouse team, which may consist of 10 pick-packers, forklift drivers, and warehouse staff members. Establishing rapport with transport carriers and drivers. Active involvement in the processes of receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods. Mentoring and training new staff, as well as implementing changes and new standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed. Actively participating in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) committee meetings and strictly adhering to workplace health and safety policies. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes: A hands-on approach to leadership. A valid LF license and practical experience. Proven experience in process improvement and change management. Experience with WMS systems (Jaix or SAP will be advantageous but not essential). Previous work experience within the contract logistics sector. Availability to work an 8-hour shift, with the possibility of overtime when required, within the hours of 8 am to 5 pm (no weekends). Strong leadership qualities and proficiency in performance management.
