Job Description
Job Description - Develop and implement efficient warehouse strategies for space optimization, inventory handling, and cost control. - Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping.- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to manage space use and ensure timely replenishment.- Utilize warehouse management systems to track orders, manage stock levels, and ensure data accuracy.- Schedule workforce and ensure adequate staffing levels for daily operations.- Conduct regular audits of warehouse procedures and implement improvements.- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams for coordinated inbound and outbound shipments.- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and effectiveness.- Ensure effective communication with other departments and stakeholders to align warehouse activities with business objectives.- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.- Handle escalated issues and resolve conflicts related to warehouse operations.- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper filing of all warehouse documentation.- Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes for better turnaround times and cost reduction. Job Requirements Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases Leadership skills and ability manage staff Strong decision making and problem solving skills Excellent communication skills BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration #J-18808-Ljbffr
