RN-2: As a Clinical Nurse (CN) within the Mental Health Care Program (MHCP), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health nursing care across diverse settings. You will be accountable for maintaining high standards in your own clinical practice, overseeing the delegation of tasks to others, and providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues. The CN position is predominantly clinical, but you will also have opportunities to expand your career through additional responsibilities aligned with your professional development and MHCP priorities. The CN role offers variety and the chance to influence positive outcomes across the service. You may be involved in teaching, research, or contributing to larger MHCP initiatives, such as developing clinical protocols, guidelines, and process mapping. Your input into complex projects and specific portfolio responsibilities will shape the future of mental health nursing practice.
