Sydney or Melbourne based – flexible working options Excellent opportunity to join Westpac’s Enterprise Compliance team. How will I help? As an Executive Manager in the Enterprise Compliance team, you will be responsible for supporting the Westpac Group’s management of prudential requirements, end to end through the prudential lifecycle. The role requires a strong understanding of APRA prudential requirements applying across the Westpac Group with ongoing engagement also required with various offshore offices. You will be responsible for coordinating governance for both domestic and international prudential requirements and supporting the organization to access advice on prudential matters, whether providing advice directly or referring to the relevant Group SME. You will advise on Westpac’s Prudential Management Policy Requirements, to ensure a consistent approach is applied across the Group and provide input for reporting to Senior Management and Board on prudential matters. In addition to this you will: Act as a trusted advisor and build strong stakeholder relationships across the Westpac Group, consulting with stakeholders and obtaining appropriate input as required. Have close engagement with the regulatory relationships team to support constructive and transparent engagement with regulators. Translate technical information and issues into language appropriate for the audience. Lead the promotion of general awareness of prudential requirements across the Group through the facilitation of training. Present to divisional forums on a range of prudential matters. What do I need? To be successful in this role you will have significant demonstrated experience in compliance advisory or other relevant business experience such as law, operational risk or audit. You will have deep knowledge of APRA’s prudential requirements for Authorised Deposit-Taking Institutions (ADIs), with extensive stakeholder management skills. You will preferably hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline e.g. law or postgraduate studies in compliance and have excellent editorial and business writing skills.
