RPAH is recruiting a Part Time administrative officer to complement and enhance the current Women and Babies Admissions team. The position is based onsite in the main hospital. The Women and Babies Administration Officer will perform administrative functions in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to support effective patient care. The position ensures patients are registered efficiently with accurate details to provide an optimal level of direct and indirect care. Duties include collecting demographic details for accurate patient registration, interviewing patients for their financial election and processing admissions, discharging patients, and associated administrative duties. Able to carry out duties in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Demonstrated aptitude for resilience and compassion. The ability to work on a 7 day roster (4 x 8 hour shifts per fortnight).
