In this newly created WHS Advisor role, you will work alongside our teams as a business partner, advisor, and lead for WHS and environmental matters, providing hands-on and practical support, expert guidance, and recommendations to stakeholders. This influential role will see you champion an already existing strong culture of safety and wellbeing as well as embed a proactive safety-first mindset. Here are a few responsibilities you will have in this role: Implement and maintain health, safety, environment, and quality policies. Deliver engaging safety alerts and education to drive safety awareness. Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring lessons are learned and improvements made. Ensure legislative compliance and support safe service delivery within programs. Conduct risk assessments on worksites, equipment, tasks, and hazardous substances. Oversee injury management and return-to-work processes. Collaborate with leadership to develop practical, effective solutions for health and safety challenges. This position has been classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award as a Level 5.1 with a starting salary of $97,377.28 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging.
