Work Health and Safety & Facilities Manager (JOB-322396) Location: Sydney, AustraliaSector: Health & SafetySalary: $125,000.00 to $130,000.00 per annum Knowmore Legal Service is a nationwide service, supporting victim-survivors of childhood abuse and the Stolen Generations in accessing legal redress and justice. We offer free, confidential services to help victim-survivors navigate their compensation and redress options, through the National Redress Scheme, Victims of Crime Compensation Schemes, and the Territories Stolen Generation Redress Scheme. Our team provides free legal assistance, financial counselling, social support and specialised cultural support for First Nations people. With a trauma-informed and culturally safe approach, we empower victim-survivors to make informed choices on their path to healing and justice. WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGER WHO HAS: Proven experience in managing workplace health and safety, preferably in a trauma impacted environment In-depth knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, and industry standards across multiple jurisdictions Strong understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees, management, and external stakeholders Proven ability to develop and deliver health and safety training programs ABOUT THE ROLE: Working in the People and Culture Team you will helicopter between strategic and operational and work on the following key areas: Policy development and implementation Risk management Training and Support Incident Management Safety Culture and Promotion Compliance and Reporting Facilities Management, as pertaining to WHS WHAT WE OFFER: Our work is underpinned by our values of respect, teamwork, courage, integrity and innovation.
