Explore our school website to learn more about us. St John Vianney's Primary School is seeking a highly motivated Workplace Health and Safety Officer to join our community. The primary role is to provide administrative support to ensure that the school operates safely and complies with all relevant legislation. This role is responsible for the administration and communication of the school's safety policies and procedures. The role is 2 days per week, campus-based and a continuing role during term-time with the possibility of extra weeks during school holidays. The successful candidate will be reporting to the principal and will work collaboratively with the Principal, Grounds Manager, Administration Team and Senior leadership to provide a source of knowledge, initial advice, and information to develop, implement and monitor effective WH&S systems, policies, training, and practices that address the school's key organisational risks and WH&S compliance obligations with BCE and legislative requirements.
