Job Description
Solo Resource Recovery is a family owned and operated business, supplying waste and recycling services throughout Australia. We are currently seeking the services of an enthusiastic Storeman to work out of our busy workshop in Gateshead. As a part of our Solo team, you will benefit from: A competitive base hourly rate Company uniform and PPE items provided On the job training A professional, team oriented work environment Job security The successful candidate will undertake tasks including but not limited to the following: Ordering of truck parts Receiving of delivered parts Paperwork for stores and the workshop Cleaning and organisation of storeroom Picking up of parts for suppliers Assist mechanics as required The successful applicant will possess: An understanding of truck parts Familiarity with Quality Assurance & Occupational Health & Safety Good communication and organisational skills A heavy vehicle drivers licence and/or current forklift licence would be an advantage, but is not essential. Previous experience in a similar role would also be highly regarded. In accordance with our Company’s recruitment process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical, which includes a drug test.
