Youth Project Officer – Permanent Full Time Salary: $85.864 - $91,188 per annum pro rata Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply) Ref No: 25-033 Working as part of the Youth Development team, you will be responsible for planning, promoting, and implementing high-quality youth development initiatives, as outlined in the City’s operational and strategic plans. This position undertakes research of contemporary youth development issues or trends to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a variety of initiatives that reflect the needs of young people in the local community. The successful candidate will have experience in initiating and delivering youth development projects and events in response to identified needs, the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and the skills to assist with community consultations relating to young people. The position requires the candidate to work full-time flexible hours, with occasional evenings and weekends. Applicants need to provide their CV along with a covering letter of no more than two pages addressing the following selection criteria: Demonstrated experience of effective planning and delivery of youth development projects and services. High level of interpersonal and collaboration skills to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Experience in delivering projects in accordance with agreed scope, timeframes and allocated budgets and prepare relevant project reporting documentation.
