The Role We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a dynamic, forward-thinking team in Canberra. This role is responsible for shaping enterprise solutions, driving transformation, and ensuring seamless system integration. You will work closely with stakeholders, translating complex business and security needs into scalable architectural designs. Location: Canberra, ACT (Onsite) Security Clearance: NV1 (TSPV highly desirable) Initial Contract: 12 months + 2 x 12-month extensions Key Duties and Responsibilities Design and develop comprehensive, scalable, and secure technology solutions that align with business and technical requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to understand and deliver innovative solutions. Conduct detailed analysis of business needs and technical requirements, translating them into actionable solution designs. Assess and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms to ensure optimal implementation. Prepare detailed solution architecture documentation, including design specifications and technical diagrams. Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment with architectural vision and resolve technical challenges. Essential Skills and Experience Minimum five (5) years' experience in solution architecture or a related field. Strong expertise in enterprise, solutions, or network architecture, with formal training in technical architecture methodologies. Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical discussions and collaborate across diverse teams. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders. Experience working in national security or government environments is highly desirable.
