    What you'll be doing As a Customer Service Officer, you'll be one of the friendly faces and voices of The Capricornian Bank. You'll help customers in branch and over the phone with a wide range of everyday banking needs. Your day might include: Helping customers with everyday banking, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cards and account enquiries. Opening new accounts and memberships, managing customer details and assisting with term deposits. Listening to customers, answering their questions and finding solutions or connecting them with the right person when they need more specialised help. Building strong customer relationships by checking in with customers and understanding how we can better support their needs. Supporting customers with banking products and services, including insurance, while identifying opportunities to connect them with our lending and specialist teams. Working as part of a supportive team and helping with the day-to-day operation of the branch.

    Skills And Experiences
    About You You don't need years of banking experience to be successful in this role. We're looking for the right attitude, a willingness to learn and someone who genuinely enjoys helping people. You'll bring: A friendly, positive and customer-focused attitude. Great communication skills and the confidence to talk with a wide range of people. A genuine interest in helping customers and finding solutions to their needs. Good attention to detail and the ability to get things right, particularly when handling money and customer information. Confidence with numbers, technology and learning new systems. The ability to work well in a team while also taking responsibility for your own work. A willingness to learn about banking, financial products and regulatory requirements. New to banking? That's okay. If you have strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn, we will provide training and support to help you build your knowledge and confidence in the role.
