An opportunity for an experienced Reception Administration Assistant has become available with a locally owned manufacturer of steel mesh, screening and parts for the mining, quarry, concreting and construction industries in Australia and New Zealand. With over 30 years history, this is a business that has gained a reputation for superior customer service, quality and innovation. This permanent full-time opportunity will be based at their office in Wacol. Working five days/week from 7:30am to 4:00pm (with a 2:30pm finish on Fridays to start your weekend), you will be responsible for a range of reception, administration and customer service duties, including: Responding to incoming telephone and counter enquiries, ensuring a high level of customer service (including directing calls and taking accurate messages) Assisting with data entry of accounts receivable and accounts payable Assisting with freight and transport bookings and receiving deliveries Providing administrative support to the team If you are looking to build on your reception and administrative experience and gain the opportunity to develop your accounts skills as part of a great team, this could be the opportunity for you. Supervision, training and mentoring will be provided to support your success and you will ideally demonstrate: Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus Aligned experience in a reception or administration environment (experience processing invoices advantageous but not essential) Fast and accurate keyboarding skills with strong attention to detail Organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task whilst working in a frontline customer focused environment This family-owned business has built a great team culture, supported by regular team events, training and development opportunities.
