$91,702 - $104,753 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Canberra - ACT The Role As the Print Procurement Manager, you will lead a small team, which outsources printing, finishing and distribution of corporate and promotional products for Defence, and stationary for the Ministers' offices. You will provide detailed technical, professional and policy advice in relation to complex print, procurement and contacting work.In addition, you will be accountable to ensure you have knowledge of and comply with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence's mission and policy requirements. You will contribute to strategic planning, program and project management, and policy development.Further, you will undertake considerable internal and external stakeholder engagement to ensure fit-for-purpose outcomes for Defence, and in relation to complex issues. You will be accountable to lead the Canberra Print Procurement team, set its work priorities and manage workflows.In addition, you will build team capability through coaching and feedback, and will review and develop the quality of the team’s work. You will work independently with reasonable autonomy and accountability for achieving your role’s deliverables.You will exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures. Within the Directorate of Defence Print and Travel Services is the Defence Print and Distribution Services (DPDS) team.This DPDS team:Delivers in-house printing, finishing and distribution of items classified OfficialSensitive and Protected; and Outsources print jobs classified Official and Unofficial to suppliers nationally.
