Category: ICT Location: ACT Work Type: Contract Remuneration: $Neg Term: 12 Months + ext Description: Long term opportunity within a Federal Government Department Hybrid working arrangements & rewarding daily rates $$$ A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Program Support Officer to coordinate and drive implementation of new programs focused on enhanced Pacific engagement including key design, program and finance functions. The role will be located in Canberra with hybrid working arrangements available. The successful Program Support Officer will be offered a 12-month contract with a 14 month extension option. The successful Program Support Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to: Supporting enhanced engagement with Pacific Island countries through the implementation of new or existing development programs Establishing effective Contract Management processes, monitoring, tracking milestones and budgets Assessing and managing risks for program implementation Ensuring monitoring and evaluation is effective and in accordance with contractual requirements The successful Program Support Officer will have experience in the following: Experience and understanding of Procurement and Risk Management Experience managing programs that align to longer-term planning with organisational objectives Experience in establishing Contract Management processes and tracking milestones Ability to assess risks for program implementations This is a great opportunity with a Federal Government department where you will provide your expertise and support!
