About the role: The Information Management Systems Officer is responsible to the Manager, Projects and Systems on a day to day basis for coordinating the provision of a range of specialist system administration activities that support the implementation and ongoing delivery of the Department for Education’s Electronic Documents and Records Management System (EDRMS). In this capacity, the position is responsible for the delivery of training and end user support, for the management of system configuration, testing, maintenance and documentation, and for the administration and maintenance of users, groups and security requirements. The position also manages the administration of the Business Classification Scheme (BCS) and disposal schedules in the EDRMS, coordinates and delivers reports, administers change control processes, and contributes to, and promotes, Department for Education change management strategies and information management initiatives. Qualifications: Essential: Qualifications or comparable experience in Database administration and/or SQL Server Management.Desirable: Relevant Records and Information Management Training. Special conditions: The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. For all other Special Conditions please refer to the attached Position Description. Remuneration: ASO5 $85,790 - $95,413 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
