About the role Are you passionate about Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title management? Do you have a knack for developing and implementing strategic policies? Water Corporation is seeking a dedicated Senior Advisor to join our multi-functional team. In this role, you will design and implement methodologies for a ‘whole of business’ approach to Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title management. You will also develop and deliver policy initiatives and participate in a centre of expertise to ensure effective management. What the role will involve Policy Development and Review: Research, develop, and maintain policies, strategies, and frameworks. Evaluate and prepare advice on Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title policies. Compliance and Advice: Draft and present high-level advice, submissions, and briefing papers on complex issues. Process Management and Integration: Contribute to the design and delivery of a ‘whole of business’ approach to Aboriginal Heritage management. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with a range of stakeholders to support policy development and review. Ethics and Compliance: Comply with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, corporate policy, and ethical standards. About you Substantial experience in strategy, policy development, and change management. Understanding of State and Federal legislation relating to Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title. Well-developed conceptual, analytical, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Demonstrates values and behaviours that contribute to a high-performance culture.
