Aboriginal Student Support Officer 3 days a week Salary range $33.42 - $36.29 per hour Bairnsdale Supportive and inclusive community Our Client For over 95 years our client has played a crucial role in supporting Gippsland communities. They actively participate in a variety of social initiatives that contribute to the social and cultural development of the Gippsland region.The Role As the Aboriginal Student support officer, you will be the first point of for Aboriginal students. You will provide welfare monitoring and intervention support to assist the students to succeed. Through collaborative engagement with teachers and managers you will deliver support strategies to improve student retention and success.To be successful in this role you will have lived experienceand or a deep understanding, appreciation and demonstrated experience in working with the koori community.
