Key responsibilities include: Working with female students. Developing and implementing culturally relevant programs. Providing one-on-one mentoring and support to Indigenous students. Collaborating with staff to create an inclusive learning environment. Organising and leading cultural events and activities that celebrate Indigenous heritage. Advocating for the needs and interests of Indigenous students within the School. This position commences in 2025 and is part-time at 0.4FTE. For more information regarding the role, please refer to the Position Description which can be found below. The Person You must be passionate about Indigenous education to join our team. This pivotal role involves mentoring and supporting Indigenous students to help them navigate their education journey and achieve their full potential. You have a strong understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories and contemporary issues and experience working with Indigenous communities of students. It is preferable that you identify as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person. Additionally, due to the nature of the role, a female candidate is preferred.
