Brief overview of this role: We are looking for a new Account Executive to join our Sydney team, which will enable Sitemate to capitalise on existing inbound demand and organic growth within our smaller accounts. This role would be great for you if you have experience in SaaS or tech new business sales and a track record of managing pipeline and your quota attainment. You’ll be working closely with the Director of GTM as well as colleagues across Customer Success & Sales within our Small Business Pod, to get a much broader understanding of how the SaaS delivery model works. You’ll have direct exposure to and engagement from GTM leadership, the CEO and the product team. In the next 2-3 years, there will be opportunities galore for people who join to catapult their career. Employment: Full-time Based: Sydney, Australia OTE Remuneration (incl. Super): $140,000 - $160,000 per annum, pending the particular applicant’s experience. Base Salary (including Super): AUD $98,000 - $112,000 Commission (including Super): AUD $42,000 - $48,000 What will I be doing day to day in this role? You will be receiving qualified inbound leads automatically booked on your calendar from an SDR - approximately 5-10 new opportunities per week once you are fully ramped. You will be conducting deep qualification questioning, presenting relevant content based on your prospects' industry, role and pain points, and then conducting online product demonstrations and providing proposals. You will be spending most of your time with prospects across phone calls, emails and zoom/teams meetings, as well as internal tools like slack and salesforce. Your quota is measured by the net new MRR closed per month. What will be the biggest challenges for me in this role? Learning about the built world if you haven’t had any exposure to it - there are a lot of different types of companies and plenty of new terminologies to learn. Up-skilling your call/phone and email skills - although we have plenty of examples for you to learn from during your onboarding. Understanding SaaS financial acronyms and common terminology - if you have not worked in a SaaS company before, there is going to be a lot of metrics to learn. Learning how to use Salesforce. You’ll be reporting to the Director of Go-to-Market, and working directly with Sitemate’s CEO, Revenue Operations, and founding team.
