Accountant - Full Time Opportunity Join a global manufacturing company of innovative packaging solutions Drive operational success by providing strategic financial support Highly transactional role Oji Fibre Solutions QLD Pty Ltd, part of the rapidly expanding global Oji Group, specialises in the manufacture of innovative packaging solutions. Our greenfield plant based in Yatala QLD, produces corrugated boxes which play an important part in the presentation, protection, and transportation of customer products in the Horticulture, Meat, Industrial, FMCG and Paper Products segments. We are currently seeking a highly detail-oriented, hands-on Accountant to join the site finance team. This is a key financial-based position reporting directly to the State Commercial Manager QLD whilst collaboratively working alongside multiple department heads to gather relevant data which will assist the business to achieve its required goals. You will be responsible for, however not limited to, all finance-related transactions including month-end accounting, journals, gathering data to manage the fixed asset process including raising capex requests, balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with month-end reporting to the head office, whilst supporting the State Commercial Manager as required. To be successful in this role, you must have: Degree qualification in commerce, accounting, business and/or studying towards CPA/CA Minimum 2 years financial/accounting experience Prior experience/exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills – including Excel Solid systems knowledge – SAP/BPC/Hyperion advantageous Strong communication skills, pride in your attention to detail and drive to complete accurate reports on time is paramount to you being a success in this role.
