Accounts Receivable Officer - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Location: South East MelbourneSalary package: $70K - $75K + Super + Onsite ParkingRole highlights: Global organisation with large Australian presence. Role Overview As the Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be joining a large team and reporting to one of the Credit Team Leads. You will be responsible for uploading and sending invoices to suppliers and onboarding new/maintaining existing accounts, manually. You will do this by ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all your data entry and processes. Your extensive accounts receivable skills, problem-solving ability and autonomous nature will see you make this role your own. Responsibilities Managing a portfolio of customers Collect and manage overdue accounts Send and upload supplier invoices Onboard and maintain customer accounts Handle all disputes and enquiries promptly and efficiently Customer Service Build and Maintain Customer relationships Candidate Profile The successful candidate will have +2 years as an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer. It is desirable to have experience in a high-volume environment, manual end-to-end AR functions. You have an extensive understanding of Accounts Receivable duties and procedures, end to end, and can confidently use multiple manual old systems and attain intermediate Excel skills. Your precise and accurate data entry skills, problem-solving and analytical mind, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly, will ensure your success in this role. This Accounts Receivable Officer takes initiative and will contribute greatly to a high-performing, close-knit team.
