Casson Homes Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation that operates across several services: Residential aged care facilities Psychiatric Hostels SIL accommodation Transitional housing options Homelessness supportive accommodation Casson Communities as a registered NDIS provider We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer to join Casson Homes Inc in North Perth on a Full-Time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative assistance and support to the Management and Finance teams while liaising with the Clinical Governance and Care Quality teams ensuring efficient administrative functions, including records management, quality, compliance, training and support. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and respond to enquiries from prospective new residents and their representatives for new admissions Conduct tours of our residential aged care facilities Communicate and explain the aged care system for state and commonwealth funded residents Prepare quotes for fees and agreements for new residents Monthly communication with mental health agencies and Social Workers regarding room vacancies Conduct fortnightly billing for all resident invoices Process resident banking and pocket money expenses Liaise with residents, their families, Public Trust team managers, pharmacy and external stakeholders Process monthly Medicare claims and reconciliation Follow up on overdue invoices Ordering stationery and equipment for all facilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy reception area, working closely with the Receptionist regarding banking, cash handling, resident pocket money, petty cash cards for each facility, receipting, fleet car management About You: Compassionate, self-motivated individual with exceptional communication skills and the ability to liaise with people from all walks of life, with a desire to work with people living with a mental health illness Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care system Exceptional time management skills with good attention to detail Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated understanding of safety policies and procedures at the workplace Excellent computer applications skills, including MYOB, PRODA, Medicare Business Online, Nera, Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, One Drive and SharePoint) About the Benefits: Joining an authentically values-based organisation that is inclusive, diverse, and welcoming.
