The Role Our Emergency Department has new opportunities for experienced administration officers to join our team. Norwest Private Hospital is seeking part-time team members with excellent customer service skills to work across a rotating shift roster, with flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle. Key functions of the role include: Perform a broad range of administration duties including: Answer and redirect calls Prepare admission paperwork Conduct follow-up requests Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records Perform Health Fund Checks as required Manage the collection of excesses/co-payments Coordinate with staff from other departments Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry What you’ll need to succeed To be successful in your application, you will: Have a friendly and customer service focused attitude with demonstrable experience Commit to our Safe Values Have sound computer literacy skills Be comfortable with competing priorities Be available to participate in rotating shifts across 7 days, including Day, Afternoon and Night shifts and alternate weekends Have availability to work 3 shifts per week on an ongoing basis Previous experience in an administrative role is desirable Why Healthscope?
