We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administration Support Officer to provide high-level operational and secretarial support to our Allied Health and Outreach team . In this role, you will manage data entry, appointments, client documentation, and emails while coordinating meetings, taking minutes, and ensuring effective communication across teams and external stakeholders. You will also oversee the inventory of clinical and health promotion resources, maintain shared calendars, and coordinate travel arrangements. Your contribution will help create a smooth and efficient working environment while supporting the team in delivering quality healthcare services. About Miwatj Health Miwatj Health is an independent Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Service. Established in 1992, we’re committed to securing quality health care services across the East Arnhem and enabling Yolŋu powered community health and wellbeing. Miwatj provides culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care to over 6,000 remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents across 3 East Arnhem wards. With a Head Office in Nhulunbuy, Miwatj also manages a Corporate Office in Darwin, 7 fixed clinics across the East Arnhem region, and dedicated outreach teams who travel to 3 additional locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to self-determination and empowering Yolŋu people to lead their own health journey, along with an understanding of the challenges faced in remote communities and the role of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs). You must hold or be able to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-cultural environment. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential, as well as proficiency in MS Office and Canva. Experience in secretarial support, minute-taking, meeting coordination, and managing multiple priorities is required, along with a proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
