Administration Adelaide Full Time Icon Cancer Centre Australia We are seeking an overarching Administration Team Leader with excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to motivate and empower a team of 18 staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership qualities including care, accountability, collaboration, integrity and people management. Lead a Team of Medical Administrators within our Day Hospital Champion our Friendly and Supportive Environment, for both Staff and Patients Competitive Remuneration, Development & Progression Opportunities Permanent, Full-Time (Monday to Friday) – Kurralta Park, SA Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Senior Administration Manager to coordinate patient appointment times and maintain effective reception services. Supervise and support the Administration team, ensuring smooth operations and high standards of service delivery. Provide flexible support across various roles within the team as needed to optimize patient care. Process and validate Health Fund claims accurately. Manage daily cash, cheque, and credit transactions, ensuring end-of-day balance. Deliver superior customer service by ensuring efficient service delivery to patients and their families. Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging input and feedback from team members. Communicate with patients and their families in a compassionate and friendly manner. Staff rostering Solving complex doctor requests. Facilitating a large number of patients daily. Managing a high number of inbound calls. Maintaining KPIs. Skills & Experience: Minimum three years' experience in a similar role, including proficiency in electronic practice management systems. Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, and Private Health Insurance processes. Strong organizational and time management skills. Clear verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in computer systems, particularly in Word and Excel. Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent client service, both internally and externally. Advanced knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
